If you’ve ever fancied yourself as a music producer now could be your chance thanks to the University of Sheffield.

The Sound Studios are giving people the opportunity to produce electro acoustic music later on today. The event is all part of the city’s Curious Festival – which is celebrating the strange and unusual through sound, vision and performance.

During the session you’ll get the chance to record two or three sounds, develop them individually and then get together in a group to edit and mix a short piece of music.
