Open Up, Sheffield’s open art show is being held this week.
The show involves 107 of Sheffield and South Yorkshire’s artists.
The arts show exhibits different artists of different genres with different styles and mediums.
Some of the key artists in the show are interactive media artist Shanaz Gulzar, internationally acclaimed tattoo artist Fiona Long, textile artist Helen Neale and metal artist Tom Stockton.
The show provides a showcase for emerging artists who might not otherwise have an outlet for their work.
The show is vast, covering South Yorkshire at a whole at a range of venues. Some of the shows are being conducted in Sheffield city centre and some are in the smaller towns of Doncaster and Rotherham.
Over the last 12 years, the annual Open Up show has established a national reputation of quality and excellence.
The show also includes workshops conducted at Freeman College and the Academy of Makers on May 7. Unless otherwise stated, the opening hours are 11am to 5pm.
The exhibition runs until May 8.
Open Up is a non-profit organisation.
